Nobody knows Georgia quite like Georgians do. Representatives from Red Pepper will introduce “The Georgia Way,” the proposed social media and content campaign designed to drive awareness of Georgia thorough engaging, insider storytelling. From research through concept and monthly campaign cycles, Red Pepper will walk tourism partners through the details in a manner designed to encourage conversation, idea-sharing and excitement about participating in the future campaign. Following Red Pepper’s session, media vendors who are included in the FY 19 Advertising Co-op Program will give short presentations on their products. Come learn about the solutions available to you and discover how Georgia Tourism’s media vendors can serve your advertising needs.

State of Tourism Breakfast

The second annual Georgia Travel Association State of Tourism Breakfast features networking and coffee from 7 – 7:30 a.m., and the program begins at 7:45 a.m. with special guests including Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle and former state senator Hunter Hill. Tickets are $55 per person or $300 per table of six. Immediately following the breakfast, transportation to and from Tourism, Hospitality and Arts Day at the Capitol will be provided. Tourism, Hospitality and Arts Day at the Capitol

Georgia State Capitol

Tourism, Hospitality and Arts representatives gather at the Georgia State Capitol for the annual acknowledgement and celebration of our respective industries. We will begin gathering no later than 9:30 a.m. on the steps of the North Wing. The official program and check presentation to Governor Nathan Deal is scheduled to begin at 9:45 a.m. with the group photo shoot on the steps to follow.

2018 Georgia Travel Guide Distribution

Cases of the 2018 Georgia Travel Guide will be available for pickup outside of the main Georgia Public Broadcasting building in Midtown. The location is easily accessible off of I-75 and you’ll be able to pull right into the parking garage past the main building on your right, have your guides loaded into your vehicle and turn around. It will be simple and convenient and we appreciate our partners at GPB making this possible! GDEcD's Jeff Farr and Alphonso Murchison will be on-site distributing the travel guides.
